If you like putting a filter on top of your Instagram photos, your're going to love the photo-sharing platform's new update that is available in the UAE.
Just this week, Instagram introduced face filters while sharing a live video. Filters were introduced to Instagram Stories last May but could only be used for photos and videos, not lives.
According to Daily Mail, in order to use the face filters during a live broadcast, users must tap the face icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. This can be done before or during a live broadcast. After a broadcast, the live video can then be saved on your phone or shared to Instagram. This ensures it stays there for the next 24 hours.
The app has been introducing a raft of features to their Instagram Stories platform since it was first introduced. Despite this, many still criticise it for being strikingly similar to another application - Snapchat.
